The day is FINALLY here! I can remember when we first received the offer for an internship at Peace Lutheran Church, the nine months we had to wait seemed like it would take forever! Well the nine months have come and gone and the day really is here!! Today we drove from Tim's parents house to Fargo, ND. We will stay the night here and then take off in the morning for the second part or day #2 of moving! We would really like to express our thanks and appreciation for all the friends and family who have encouraged, supported and helped us to get to where we are today, we couldn't have done it without you and of course without God guiding us.
I can't assume we have told everyone about the church or the town that it's in, so here is as much as I know... Hazen, ND has a population of about 2,800, it is about half way between Bismarck and Minot, as for distance from the Twin Cities area its about a 7-8 hour drive with Fargo being the half-way point. As for the church it has about 1,100 Baptized and about 900 Confirmed, the average attendance on Sunday about 175. I will update this information to make it facts once we get settled which will hopefully be sooner rather than later :)
