An Overdue Update!

Well I thought I was doing a good job at updating this, but then the holidays happened! And I haven't quite gotten back into a routine yet (so much for resolutions huh?)...so here is an update of the last 4 months or so...from what I can remember!

December was a VERY cold month here in almost rural North Dakota! We were able to take some time off and head home for Christmas and New Years which was a nice little vacation!

January was cold and windy as well weather wise.

February wasn't bad it warmed up and cooled down as well...snow melted and then came back again and then melted again and came back again!! The vicious cycle of mother nature in the mid-west!

March so far hasn't been bad....starting to think and really believe Spring is on it's way in!

So far my grandma has been correct on her weather "predictions". She always says that the weather on the last Friday of the month will tell how the next months weather will be...she's one smart lady!

Well that's about it...oh wait I guess you weren't really interested in how the weather was huh? lol

Tim has been having fun doing what he loves! He has continued to be preaching and he is really getting comfortable at the pulpit! He is also still enjoying teaching confirmation and Sunday school and hanging out and helping with youth events! We hosted a SuperBowl party at our house for the Junior High students and to say the least it was a success! I ACTUALLY watched the game and cheered, which Tim is taking as progress to make a football fan out of me yet (I have to give him credit he hasn't given up after 4 years of trying to get me to like football!). Tim and the youth director had a successful young mens group and are now in the start of another mens bible study! He is also still continuing on his house visits with various members of the church. He has even done his first wedding service, although he couldn't do the vows (State of North Dakota you have to be licensed/ordained to do those), it was a great service!

I have been keeping busy with work at the hospital and picking up some aide shifts. While I'm not at work I've been continuing my various crafting habits including my Stampin' Up! card crafts...there is another demonstrator in town and we've collaborated to start a monthly card club and just switch off months making up the cards and such. Its a blast and the ladies seem to enjoy it as well! I've also joined the hospital Relay For Life team which is great! The group of ladies are wonderful to work with. A couple weeks ago we put on a Spaghetti Feed and it was a good kick off for this year...which reminds me I need to work on a project for that...

Bear and Wini are doing great as well! Wini keeps on growing, she's now shy of 6 lbs and has even more energy if that is even possible! Bear obviously is done growing being 3 now but he has lost some weight which is good he was a little pudgy when we first moved here but he's still a big boy at 76 lbs! They get a long GREAT with each other...every now and then when they are all tuckered out from playing they take a little rest and cuddle for a bit and of course when I go get the camera they decide it's time to play again. But here is a picture of the two of them together!

We are still waiting to find out where we will be after internship is over with, but we continue to appreciate and be thankful for the prayers from everyone! We are confident that God has a place for us to do His ministry and are constantly working on our patience till He reveals the plan he has for us!

Blessings!
Tim and Gracie
